Privacy Policy
Effective October 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Authority Figures LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company in the United States ("we", "us"), handles personal information when you use Authos. Contact info@authority-figures.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information we handle
Account information includes your name, email address, sign-in information, account settings and support requests. If you sign in with Google, we receive the account information you authorize, such as your name, email address and profile image. Google sign-in alone does not give us access to your email messages or calendar.
Workspace information includes business details and answers you provide during onboarding, uploaded material, writing preferences, content, drafts, instructions, conversations with the service and saved results. If you connect an external account or import data, supported information can include profiles, contacts, messages, posts, comments, engagement and related activity. This information can include personal information about other people.
We also handle information needed to operate and protect the service, such as device and browser information, IP addresses, sign-in activity, usage records, errors and security-check results. If you purchase a plan, payment providers process payment information; our order records support billing, access and support.
Why we use information
We use information to create and manage accounts, provide the features you request, personalize your workspace, prepare content and other results, support connected-account activity, answer support requests, manage billing and send service emails. We also use it to detect abuse, resolve problems, protect accounts, improve the service and meet legal obligations.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performing our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the service where those interests do not override your rights, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. You can withdraw consent for optional processing without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Who receives information
Service providers help us with hosting, account access, storage, email delivery, payment processing, security, support and AI features. They receive information needed for the relevant service. AI features can send relevant prompts, messages, profile information and content to external AI providers to produce the results you request. Do not include information that you are not authorized to share.
Information is shared with connected services when you use a feature that requires it, and with people you authorize to access workspace material. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections. We do not sell data received through the Authos browser extension or use it for unrelated purposes.
Connected accounts and your choices
You choose whether to connect external accounts and which supported features to use. You must have authority to provide information about other people. You can disconnect an account to stop future connected activity. Disconnecting an account, removing the extension or clearing your browser does not automatically delete information already saved in your workspace. Contact us to request deletion.
When a business customer determines how personal information is used in its workspace, that business may be responsible for responding to requests about that information. We can direct a request to the relevant business where appropriate.
Cookies, storage and service emails
Cookies and similar browser storage support sign-in, account sessions, settings and security. Disabling essential storage may prevent the service from working. Account confirmation, password-reset, security and other essential service emails are part of account operation. Marketing subscriptions are separate and can be stopped using the unsubscribe link in those messages.
Our account pages do not currently change their behavior in response to the browser Do Not Track signal. Embedded sign-in and security providers may recognize a browser or device across services under their own privacy policies. You can contact us about applicable privacy choices and rights; a browser setting does not replace those rights.
Retention and deletion
Retention depends on the type of information, whether it is needed for your active account and requested features, and applicable support, security, billing and legal needs. Saved workspace records can remain until removed or an account deletion request is completed. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent abuse; backup copies may remain until their normal replacement. Ask us about the records and retention that apply to your account.
International processing and security
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws can differ between countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements apply to the transfer; contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
We use safeguards intended to protect personal information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact info@authority-figures.com and identify the account concerned. We may need to verify your identity. Do not send passwords or account secrets. You may also have the right to complain to the privacy regulator where you live or work.
Children and policy changes
Authos is intended for adult business users, not children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice where required. Material new uses of personal information remain subject to applicable notice and consent requirements.
